The Sport Wales’ School Sport Survey will be back in 2018 and preparations are well underway for the April launch date.

The Team heading up the project which last round saw 116,000 youngsters share their views on physical activity in Wales, have been busy consulting with partners on potential changes and improvements.

Guest Blog: Code of Practice for Statistics Consultation

I’m pleased to introduce a guest blog by Penny Babb from the Office for Statistics Regulation. The UK Statistics Authority is currently consulting on a revised version of the Code of Practice for statistics. The Code of Practice is the framework for the official statistics produced here in Wales as well as the rest of the UK.

As part of this revision the Authority are proposing that the Code provides principles that can apply to any numerical information so it is relevant to the wider data agenda. I’d very much encourage those with interest in data and statistics in Wales to respond.
